Living in Texas with Harvey looming is anything but pleasant and completely nerve wracking. We have lost our apartment, my clothes and shoes are done and my car has flooded out. As material things can always be replaced, lives can not so with that said if you're like me and feeling frustrated just know God already has a plan for you and I! It won't manifest like we think it will but all in due timing God will come through. It might be an anonymous check being sent by a stranger you never met, could be assistance from your church you never know with the biggest Big Homie of us all! Works forever in mysterious turning chaos into comfort. Deception to Ascension an so on. I ask that everyone reading this please be aware of your surroundings as I have heard people are looting and holding folks at gun point masquerading as someone lending a helping hand. You guys it's really bad out here but I know no mistake was made with this storm. How else was God going to bring us together? How much else do we need to motivate us to do better?! To the ones in a panic and feel lost, look to the Lord for the strength you need to carry on and lead your family. No I'm not telling you to go to church, not saying you should take up a religion just get to know God!! When you get to know Him you get to know thyself. He'll give you the best mindset to handle any situation that will arise. When you become a follower, life will not get any easier but tougher. Strength ain't coming from our weak bodies but only God is doing that. You know how much I wanted to say fuck everything these past few days?? I refuse because my health, strength, wisdom and power cometh from the lord! Thank you Jesus for being the Savior and our confidante. Pray in the name of Jesus I guarantee you Peace will surround and fill you the brim. All you can do is smile so all my big homies and homettes down here in the Lone Star State, keep the faith and pray! Trouble never lasts but God's good grace, mercy and favor outlasts any storm out on the ocean. Greetings and blessings to you all my fellow strangers (just kidding) I am the strange one in this case. All jokes aside, it has been a while since I've posted anything and to tell you the truth it's been rough. Depression is real and I'm not to the point where I'm in any danger to myself or others but dealing with the loss of a close loved one is a brand new challenge for me. I'm quite surprised that I've made it thus far but God is so awesome and He always send someone or something my way to reassure me all will work out for the better and that way worse could've been the case if the situation were opposite. I know it's others out there currently suffering like me but let me be the first to tell you, you're never alone. I deal with the same hurt and quite frankly it will never end but that does not mean you got to stop living. If anything a death that hit so close to home should inspire us to live more! I know my little bro would want me to live...
